We believe we have achieved this objective, as demonstrated by the Andorran Bank of the Year award given by the Financial Times group’s magazine The Banker, which we have won seven times since 2002.

All of this means that we stand out in different international rankings. Companies such as the leading group from the bank classifying sector, Fitch Ratings, and the specialized magazine The Banker, among others, put us in a distinguished position in their evaluations. Furthermore, two of our companies, Crèdit Andorrà Asset Management and Valira Capital Asset Management (Madrid), have ISO 9001:2000 certification for their investment fund management.

We also have an excellent rating from Fitch Ratings in the individual rating, short-term solvency and long-term credit quality. This rating defines us as a bank with the utmost guarantees in the short term and excellent long-term credit quality.
- Our Individual rating is 'B/C', indicating that Crèdit Andorrà is a bank with a solid financial strength.
- Our long-term rating of 'A-' shows that Crèdit Andorrà is in a strong position in terms of credit quality and with a high capacity to meet its long-term payment commitments. The Outlook for the bank is Stable.
- In the short term, Crèdit Andorrà's 'F2' rating has been confirmed. This rating refers to the level of credit risk and the measure of the probability of meeting short-term financial commitments.
- Finally, Crèdit Andorrà has been given a Support rating of '5'.
This puts us on the same level as banks of recognized international prestige, and our solvency and liquidity is backed up by this individual assessment at a time on the market when strength is a fundamental pillar.
Coefficients (rates)
Our solvency coefficient, which measures the capacity for facing any difficulty, is at 18.81% when the minimum required by law in Andorra is 10% (data from December 2010).

As for liquidity, our coefficient stands at 54.68%, compared to the 40% minimum demanded.

These figures confirm Crèdit Andorrà’s excellent qualities, which are internationally recognized due to its good management and high degree of solvency. In addition, they put the bank’s activity among the best practices in the sector on an international level.
